Student Resource Scheme (SRS)
At Mount Ommaney Special School, families may choose to participate in the Student Resource Scheme (SRS). Participation in the scheme allows the school to provide all required learning resources for your child throughout the school year.
Families who participate will receive an invoice outlining the annual Student Resource Scheme fee. This fee, together with the applicable Government allowance, helps cover the cost of classroom resources, including individual software programs, sensory items, and other learning materials used by students during the year.
For senior students, the SRS also contributes towards individual transition programs and related learning activities.
Participation forms, fee information, and lists of required items are distributed at the beginning of each school year. The Participation Form is also available in the school Documents section. Once completed, the form remains valid for the duration of your child's enrolment; however, families may choose to opt out of the scheme at any time by contacting the school office or submitting a new Participation Form.
Families who choose not to participate in the SRS will need to independently purchase all required resources and materials for their child.
We ask that all SRS fees are paid in full by the end of the school year.
Payment Options
Payments can be made online via BPAY or BPOINT using the details provided on your invoice. This is the school's preferred payment method. Cash payments are also accepted at the Administration Office during business hours, from 8:00am to 3:30pm.
