Behaviour management

At Mount Ommaney Special School we believe that every student has the right to supportive learning and effective teaching that promotes social and emotional wellbeing and encourages students to actively participate within our school and wider community.
In support of these beliefs, in 2018 MOSS adopted a whole of school framework to behaviour education called Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
We are in the process of reviewing and updating our Responsible Behaviour Plan and have commenced the journey of PBL through collaboratively identifying school rules and expected behaviours with staff, students and families. These school rules and expected behaviours will be displayed throughout the school and explicitly taught to students on a regular basis.
Our whole school expectations are:
§  Be Safe
§  Be Respectful
§  Be Your Best
For information on behaviour management please refer to our student-code-of-conduct-2020-2023.pdf
